Dorchester Two Educational Foundation’s ‘The Big Event’ Gets a Toast! Worthy Sponsor

Charleston Hospitality Group and Toast of Summerville Heartily Endorse DD2’s ‘Imagine the Possibilities’ Campaign for Improving Education in Greater Charleston
Taking place this Saturday, March 24, The Big Event is Dorchester Two Educational Foundation’s annual fundraiser benefiting its ‘Imagine the Possibilities’ campaign. Dedicated to creating initiatives and innovation awards in science, technology and more, in the past three years Imagine the Possibilities has raised $92,000 and funded 28 select grants benefiting 18,764 Dorchester Two students.
As part of Toast of Summerville’s and (presenter) Charleston Hospitality Group’s ongoing commitment to supporting education, this year they are sponsors of The Big Event and will be donating over $5,000 in cash, prizes and services benefiting the night’s event. Silent auction items include lunch at Eli’s Table with cookbook author Holly Herrick and signed copies of her two latest cookbooks, Chef’s Table Bourbon Dinner for two at Eli’s Table, VIP Party for Four at Tabbuli, Two HonkyTonk Saloon concert tickets with VIP passes, Brunch for Two at Toast!, Fill Restaurant & Piano Bar dinner package, Table for Four including bottle service at HonkyTonk Saloon, and a Que the Tailgate barbecue picnic from Queology. The Toast! worthy party will be featured in their live auction, highlighting a private catered party for 12 with 4-course meal and wine pairing.

The Big Event will take place on Saturday, March 24 at The Ponds Farmhouse, 326 Hundred Oaks Parkway in Summerville. In addition to the silent auction, it will include live music, a Lowcountry bar and southern cuisine. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person.
